Program Overview
ASN’s low-barrier Medication for Opioid Use Disorder program helps people reduce and altogether stop their opioid use through use of a safe and effective medication called Suboxone. Suboxone is a combination medication of buprenorphine and naloxone, which work together to bind to the same brain receptors as opioids. This helps to reduce the craving and withdrawal symptoms associated with opioid use.
To align with our low-barrier mode, neither drug testing nor counseling are requirements of treatment.
Suboxone is covered by most health insurance plans. Our MOUD patient navigator can help those who are uninsured or have limited insurance get enrolled in an appropriate plan.
Suboxone is FDA approved, safe, has few side effects, and is extremely effective at assisting people though their opioid use recovery.
